Whole Child International

Employment

To ensure that most resources are used for programming purposes, Whole Child International has a streamlined staff in the United States. We are growing this staff very slowly as a function of program expansion into new countries and regions. International positions will become available as we open operations in new countries of service.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions.

Lead Trainers (San Salvador, El Salvador). Whole Child is now recruiting caregiver trainers to be are stationed in San Salvador for at least one year. Hands-on experience both as a caregiver and as a trainer will be a prerequisite and fluency in Spanish is essential. Please email hr@wholechild.org for a copy of the job description and application instructions.

Program Director (Managua, Nicaragua). Whole Child is searching for a program director to be based in Managua, Nicaragua. The successful candidate will have experience running an international program as well as expertise in early child development or related disciplines. Spanish fluency is essential. If interested, please email hr@wholechild.org for a copy of the job description and application instructions.

Outreach and Development Intern (Los Angeles, U.S.A.). We are now recruiting an unpaid internship to be based in our Los Angeles (Brentwood) office. The position is flexible and designed to be implemented on a college campus. Please email internships@wholechild.org for a job description and further information.

We encourage other interested professionals to periodically check our website for updates or send a résumé and cover letter to hr@wholechild.org to remain on file.

Please note, for those who specifically wish for employment where you might work as caregivers for children, we do not foresee any such opportunities at any time in the future. Our work supports the local caregivers who already work in partner orphanages, and their essential relationship with the children is at the very heart of our work. Most other social-service and support positions will also be filled locally, as necessary.
